For best results allow ripples to disappear upon cast.  Use rod tip for short popping action to simulate a wounded minnow.  Also try a faster retrieve darting the lure left and right to imitate a scared minnow streaking for cover.  Includes special lightweight rattlers for extra fish calling sound.
