This is a great reel for the money. I've had one of these reels for about 2 1/2yrs. and it has held up well. I've used it on the beach and in the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades for snook, reds, trout, snapper, black drum, etc.. Drag performs well under heavy loads and has not failed. I am so pleased with the reel, I just bought another one for the arsenal. Casting distance is noticeably longer and line twist is noticeably less. Performs like a reel costing 2-3 times this price- can't be beat at $59.99!

240 sx reel |

I bought 1 of these reels at bass tournament and tried it a couple months ago and I really like the weight of the reel and the way it spooled using 10 pound sea gar fc line. I could also throw the lures a lot further than using my other spinning reels with braided line. So I am buying another 240sx reel.

Incredibly Light+Smooth Action+The Best Drag Ever! |

I spooled this spinning reel with 30# braid and fished it the minute it arrived...and it has the kind of smooth, consistent drag performance that you would normally only expect from the most expensive lever-drag saltwater reels...and it gave me "ultra-long" loop-free casts even with my lightest lures and bait!
It didn't matter if I was reeled in back to the boat when I got the "bite and run"...or half my line out trolling behind the boat with a soft trailing-strike...the drag let go very smoothly and evenly every time (both when cranked down or nearly on free-spool!)
I didn't lose a single fish even on braid...and it worked so great on everything from a 1# White Trout to an 18# Bull Redfish...that the second I got home I came back and ordered another one!
UPDATE: Just ordered my third one...after tagging 31" & 32" "reel peeling" Redfish that had broken off everyone else in this same spot...but I was fishing 30# fluoro-hybrid, and these AMAZING reels never lose fish!
