Gary Yamamoto Zako Swimbaits are the bait of choice for Elite angler Brett Hite, who wanted a lure that mimicked a bluegill or shad, with a bigger belly so it would hold a hook or jig. The tail features accordion-style cuts and is flanged for minimal, tight action. Zakos also have improved hookset ratios due to the tail folding in on itself whenever the fish bite. The Zako also features a flip bait as the center line on the top of the bait, making it extremely useful with rigging. You'll always know you're rigging it dead center, so it will always run true.

Throw this on as a trailer for your spinnerbait and you will get bit.
TB ran a great video on trailers for chatterbaits. They pointed out that a Kitech’s (which I’ve been using for a few years) long traverse wasn’t in harmony with the staccato movement of the blade. One of the suggested trailers was the Yamamoto Zerko. I tried it and caught two nice bass on my first outting. I’m a fan! It does make a difference.
This swimbait are awesome paired up with a chatterbait.
