The Williamson Yabai Jig is the perfect jig for cold water when jigging extremely slow for bottom fish such as Grouper, Snapper, Cod, and many other predator species of fish. The style of fishing used for this jig is called "Kubura" jigging. It has a versatile head design with a two line tie option. The tie option allows for fluttering drop action or vertical drop. The skirt, tail and hook assemblies are all interchangeable. This is a very unique jig, designed by Japanese commercial fishermen, and hard to find in the United States.

Did not realize the jig was so small

I bought the jig not knowing how big it was since is is in grams and not ounces. The jigs profile is too small to troll for a larger size salt water species such as tuna or swordfish unless it is to be used as a trailer to catch a big fish's attentiion. The price of this lure is fantastic but I can't see using this lure for anything but cast into a boiling school of bonita or Yellow Fin Tuna. It may work as a casting lure but I have lead-head streamers for that job. The lure arrived in 1 week. I ordered bother the red and blue patterns.
